\n\tMalo says that\u2019ll begin radiation treatment, and is also exploring chemotherapy and alternative therapies. \u201cBut,\u201d he writes, \u201cit\u2019s time to take your words to heart of resting & recovering, so that\u2019s what I\u2019m going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tSince Malo\u2019s original diagnosis, the Mavericks have continued to tour with minimal interruptions. However, the group announced they\u2019ll be canceling all concerts on the slate for 2025, except for a pair of shows in December at Nashville\u2019s Ryman Auditorium. \u201cHang on to your tickets for the Ryman in December, as we are planning something special there, and hope to announce that very soon,\u201d Malo writes.<\/p>\n
\n\tDespite the setback, Malo says that he is in \u201cno way alone, or scared,\u201d and thanked fans for their messages of support.<\/p>\n
