The baby girl was born earlier this month, Rihanna revealed in a short Instagram post <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\tRihanna<\/a> and A$AP Rocky<\/a> have welcomed their third child, Rocki Irish Mayers.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an Instagram post Wednesday, Sept. 24, the pop star confirmed that she gave birth earlier this month, on Sept. 13. Rihanna shared a photo of herself with the baby girl, as well as a picture of what appear to be two baby-sized boxing gloves.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tRihanna and Rocky welcomed their first son, RZA, in 2022<\/a>, while their second son, Riot, was born in 2023. Rihanna revealed she was pregnant<\/a> with their third child back in May, making a fashionably late entrance at the Met Gala in a two-piece Miu Miu outfit that emphasized her baby bump. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe announcement happens to come one day after Elle<\/a> <\/em>published an A$AP Rocky cover story, in which he expressed his desire for a baby girl. \u201cI hope it\u2019s a girl. I really do. We\u2019re praying for a girl,\u201d he said. \u201cOur first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn\u2019t want to know. Third time, we don\u2019t want to know until, you know. I feel like it\u2019s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it\u2019s a baby girl, man. I need that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an April 2024 chat with Interview Magazine<\/a><\/em>, Rihanna was asked how many more children she wanted. She replied: \u201cAs many as God wants me to have.\u201d When asked if it was more than two, she said, \u201cI don\u2019t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it\u2019s another boy, it\u2019s another boy.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
