\n\tPaul Gallagher, the older brother of Oasis<\/a>\u2019 Liam and Noel Gallagher<\/a>, pleaded not guilty to rape and other charges<\/a> on Friday, Sept. 26.<\/p>\n \n\tGallagher, 59, also pleaded not guilty to charges of coercive and controlling behavior, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill, and one count of assault, according to the BBC<\/a>. He was released on bail, and a start date for his trial was scheduled for Sept. 13, 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tLawyers for Gallagher did not immediately return Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2019s request for comment. His attorneys at Carson Kaye previously issued the statement, \u201cMr. Gallagher has consistently engaged with the police throughout their investigation and always strongly denied the allegations made against him. He looks forward to clearing his name, but as there are now ongoing legal proceedings, our client is unable to comment further\u201d (via Reuters<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n
