The country superstar says doctors told her that she has to undergo “a few procedures”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\tDolly Parton<\/a> is postponing six concerts slated<\/a> for December at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In a message to fans on social media, the Country Music Hall of Fame member says that \u201chealth challenges\u201d she\u2019s been dealing with have derailed her rehearsals for the concerts.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures,\u201d the 79-year-old wrote on Instagram. \u201cAs I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it\u2019s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tParton continued that she wouldn\u2019t be able to give the fans the performance \u201cthat you deserve to see\u201d and that she wants \u201cto be at my best for you.\u201d As Parton put it, she needs time to \u201cget show ready.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tBut she also assuaged any fears that something serious was amiss. \u201cDon\u2019t worry about me quittin\u2019 the business because God hasn\u2019t said anything about stopping yet,\u201d she wrote. \u201cBut, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures in life.\u201d<\/p>\n
