\n\tBad Bunny<\/a> has secured one of the biggest gigs in music: The 2026\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0LX halftime show<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tRoc Nation, the NFL, and Apple Music announced that the Puerto Rican superstar will take center stage at the big game during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers game Sunday, Sept. 28. Bad Bunny also shared a short video on Instagram, in which he sits perched upon a goalpost planted on the beach while his song \u201cCallaita\u201d plays.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWhat I\u2019m feeling goes beyond myself,\u201d Bad Bunny said in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown\u2026 this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tJay-Z, Roc Nation\u2019s founder and chairman, celebrated the choice, adding, \u201cWhat Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world\u2019s biggest stage.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSuper Bowl LX will take place Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n \n\tThe news comes in the middle of yet another massive year for Bad Bunny, who released his most recent album, Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos<\/a><\/em>, in January. To support the album, Bad Bunny launched a historic residency<\/a> at the El Choli arena in San Juan, Puerto Rico in July, with the 31-show run wrapping Sept. 21. (The finale, which was streamed on Amazon Music, featured guest appearances<\/a> from Marc Anthony, RaiNao, Dei V, \u00d1engo Flow, Arc\u00e1ngel, De La Ghetto, and Jowell & Randy.)<\/p>\n \n\tBad Bunny is set to follow the residency with a world tour<\/a>, and he has dates currently scheduled in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Mexico this November and December, followed by shows across South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tNotably, though, Bad Bunny is currently not scheduled to play any shows inside the United States this year or next \u2014 meaning his Super Bowl Halftime Show will take on added significance. The musician pointedly chose not to take the Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos <\/em>tour to the United States in part because of concerns that his concerts might be targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cBut there was the issue of \u2014 like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concert],\u201d he told i-D<\/a><\/em>. \u201cAnd it\u2019s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n
