The chair landed on the street right next to a group of cops, and when the police started questioning bar staff, they immediately pointed the finger at Wallen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe new body cam footage, shared by <em>The Associated Press<\/em>, shows Wallen being escorted out of the bar by the cops, one of whom asks, \u201cWhat happened?\u201d Wallen replies, \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d A few moments later, someone off camera says, \u201cHe\u2019s the one that threw the chair,\u201d while another person insists Wallen had nothing to do with it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tElsewhere, Wallen tells the police, \u201cWe\u2019re not trying to cause no problems, man. I don\u2019t know what they\u2019re \u2026 I don\u2019t know why.\u201d When one officer tells Wallen they\u2019re just trying to figure out what happens, the musician responds, \u201cAs you should.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe footage also shows Wallen being cuffed and placed in a police cruiser. He was later released on a $15,250 bond. A week after his arrest, Wallen released a statement owning up to the incident, saying, \u201cI\u2019m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tLast December, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-country\/morgan-wallen-pleads-misdemeanor-charges-chair-throwing-incident-1235202132\/\">Wallen pleaded guilty<\/a> to reduced misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment without a weapon. Wallen was given a two-year suspended sentence, except for \u201cseven days incarceration in a DUI education center,\u201d followed by two years of probation.
