Prior to being\u00a0arrested for throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s in Nashville, Morgan Wallen<\/a> called\u00a0Eric Church<\/a>, heaped praise on Thomas Rhett <\/a>and tried to tell cops he had no idea what they were talking about.<\/p>\n It wasn’t until a police officer told him they had just watched video of Wallen yeeting\u00a0the chair over the edge that the \u201cI\u2019m the Problem\u201d singer finally relented \u2014 at least slightly.<\/p>\n Until the end, one of Wallen\u2019s bodyguards insisted he was innocent, even accusing an officer of being too aggressive.<\/p>\n Video released by Metro Nashville Police brings viewers close enough to hear Wallen as the incident unfolds. You can even hear his side of the conversation with Church. The footage comes with a warning, as Wallen uses several curse words.<\/p>\n The video begins as Wallen and his team attempt to leave Chief\u2019s. Someone \u2014 possibly a bodyguard \u2014 can be heard loudly insisting there were no witnesses, only accusations.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat happened?\u201d a police officer asks Wallen.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d he replies. Moments later, he tries to walk away, but an officer stops him.<\/p>\n When a police officer tells Wallen he\u2019s trying to figure out why a chair landed next to his patrol car, Wallen responds by suggesting the officer should \u201cfigure it out.\u201d<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Wallen calls Church, who not only picks up but agrees to speak with one of the officers. Church apparently doesn\u2019t say anything to derail the investigation, effectively foiling Wallen\u2019s attempt to play the \u201cdo you know who I am?\u201d card.<\/p>\n The video quickly cuts to officers reviewing the security footage before they arrest Wallen and place him in the back of a patrol car.<\/p>\n At 4:12 in the video, Wallen is seen being put into the car, and the footage switches to that angle. \u201cI ain\u2019t done nothing wrong,\u201d he insists. A few seconds later, he hears \u201cMawmaw\u2019s House\u201d playing on the radio.<\/p>\n “Oh s–t. This is me and Thomas Rhett.
