\n\tHayley Williams<\/a> doesn\u2019t mind calling out Morgan Wallen<\/a>. In a new interview with The<\/em> New York Times<\/em>, the Paramore frontwoman revealed that Wallen \u2014 who was filmed hurling the N-word back in 2021 <\/a>\u2014 is the inspiration behind a lyric she wrote referencing a \u201cracist country singer.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tOn their Times<\/em> podcast, journalists Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli asked Williams for the identity of the musician she was referring to on \u201cEgo Death at a Bachelorette Party<\/a>,\u201d a track from her third studio album<\/a> of the same name, during which she sings, \u201cI\u2019ll be the biggest star at this racist country singer\u2019s bar.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn response to the question, Williams was clear: \u201cIt could be a couple, but I\u2019m always talking about Morgan Wallen, I don\u2019t give a shit.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tAfter a few giggles from Caramanica and Coscarelli, Williams continued: \u201cFind me at Whole Foods, bitch! I don\u2019t care. I just don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tElsewhere in the episode, Williams shared how important it is for her to speak about race-related issues. \u201cI\u2019m never not ready to scream at the top of my lungs about racial issues. I think it\u2019s so intersectional that it overlaps with everything from climate change to LGBTQIA+ issues,\u201d Williams said on the podcast, later adding: \u201cWhen you\u2019re passionate about something and you really believe in something, and have the will to spread that, yeah, talk about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
