\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2018s engagement was a long time coming. During an appearance on Heart Breakfast<\/em>, the musician revealed that she started floating inspiration for her ring to the athlete about 18 months ago by showing him videos of recent work from designer Kindred Lubeck. They were only a few months into their relationship by then, but when she knew, she knew.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI just thought her stuff was so cool,\u201d Swift said. \u201cI had shown him a video like a year and a half ago, and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out because when I saw the ring, I was like, \u2018I know who made this, I know who made this,\u2019 and also, \u2018You listen to me!’\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWith the ring sorted, it was only a matter of when and how Kelce would pop the question. He opted for a grand surprise that followed the taping of Swift\u2019s appearance on his New Heights <\/em>podcast. \u201cHe really crushed it in surprising me,\u201d Swift said on The Graham Norton Show<\/em>. \u201cWhile we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in. He went all out, 10 out of 10.<\/p>\n \n\tSwift isn\u2019t rushing towards wedding plans. She wants to get through The Life of a Showgirl <\/em>first. \u201cI want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n
