The musician was diagnosed earlier this year, but has responded well to treatment and is set to link back up with Oasis for their final reunion gigs in South America<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\tOasis<\/a> guitarist Paul \u201cBonehead\u201d Arthurs<\/a> revealed that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer<\/a> earlier this year and will have to miss the next leg of the band\u2019s<\/a> 2025 reunion tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a statement shared on Instagram, Arthurs told fans that he had responded \u201creally well to treatment,\u201d which allowed him to participate in the first part of the Oasis reunion. \u201cNow,\u201d he explained, \u201cI am having to take a planned break for the next phase of my care, so I\u2019ll be missing the gigs in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe continued: \u201cI\u2019m really sad to be missing these shows but I\u2019m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America. Have an amazing time if you\u2019re going this month and I\u2019ll see you back onstage with the band in November.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tOasis shared Arthurs\u2019 statement on their Instagram Stories, writing, \u201cWishing you all the best with your treatment\u2026 we\u2019ll see you back on stage in South America.\u201d Oasis did not say who would be filling in for Arthurs during the upcoming shows.<\/p>\n
