Taste of Country Nights<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>host Evan Paul, Block shared that while 2025 hasn\u2019t been her biggest career year, it has been her biggest \u201cme\u201d year.<\/p>\nThe turning point came in 2023, when she says she simply didn\u2019t feel like herself.<\/p>\n
\u201cTwo years ago, I was in New Zealand and I had a full come-to-Jesus meeting with myself and Jesus,\u201d Block recalls. \u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m going back to Nashville and I am going to take a hold of my life \u2014 mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, all the things.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cJust About Over You\u201d singer further explained, \u201cI was just at a point where I was playing show after show, and I was exhausted \u2014 it\u2019s hard to explain, but I was like, \u2018Mentally, yo, I\u2019m not there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
She shared that her weight had become a heavy burden on both her mental and physical health, so she began working toward losing weight to get herself back on the right track.<\/p>\n
The \u201cThick Thighs\u201d singer hit a major milestone at Christmas 2024, explaining, \u201cI\u2019d never run a mile in my life. This past Christmas Day, I ran a 5K. I\u2019m challenging myself to do things that are really freaking hard, and I feel as strong as I\u2019ve ever been \u2014 mentally and physically \u2014 right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
She added, \u201cThis past year has not been my biggest career year, but it has been my biggest \u2018me\u2019 year. Just by taking care of yourself, you see so many parts of your life enhance.\u201d<\/p>\n
