The SoCal pop rockers have announced their first album in three years and its title is steeped in nostalgia. <em>I Used to Go to This Bar<\/em> arrives early next year, on Jan. 30, 2026 via Epitaph Records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe band \u2014 guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, and bassist Matt Ebert \u2014 tapped SoCal legend and Bad Religion co-founder Brett Gurewitz to produce the new LP. \u201cWhen it comes to our musical DNA, he\u2019s one of the architects of everything we grew up on,\u201d Johnson said about Gurewitz in a statement. \u201cHaving him guide our record helped us make something that we could put next to those classic records that shaped us,\u201d Johnson added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Joyce Manor - &quot;Well, Whatever It Was&quot;\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VSPEr7_gYlw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cI always try to work fast and keep things creative and fun,\u201d Gurewitz said in a statement. That vivacious energy is palpable on Joyce Manor\u2019s new song \u201cWell, Whatever It Was.\u201d A beachy thrum about being down and out, the track comes with a playful music video that parodies <em>The Great British Bake Off<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cEveryone was just firing on all cylinders for this one. Joey Warnoker\u2019s drumming, TLA\u2019s mix, and Lenny Castro\u2019s percussion all just sent it to the end-zone. This song would go insanely hard in a <em>Shrek<\/em> film,\u201d Johnson said of the song.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn addition to announcing their seventh studio album, Joyce Manor also shared the news of their upcoming tour. The band will hit the U.K. this fall and take <em>I Used to Go to This Bar<\/em> on the road in the U.S. next spring.
