\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> spilled the tea on how a case of mistaken identity during her Eras tour <\/a>led to her fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce<\/a> meeting Greta Gerwig\u2026 eventually.<\/p>\n \n\tWhile stopping by Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/a><\/em> on Wednesday to promote her record-breaking album The Life of a Showgirl,<\/a><\/em> Swift recalled how Kelce met a slew of celebrities at the VIP tent during her trek\u2019s stop in London last year. Swift said that after Kelce gushed about hanging out with Hugh Grant, his wife Anna Eberstein, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and more, she noticed that he had yet to mention Gerwig, who is the Kansas City Chiefs player\u2019s \u201cfavorite director.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tKelce then said that he had told the Barbie<\/em> director an \u201cI\u2019m just Ken\u201d joke that didn\u2019t seem to go over too well, puzzling Swift, who at first chalked up the awkward meet-and-greet to Gerwig hearing the joke one too many times. Continuing to recount the evening, Kelce then mentioned how Gerwig and Grant danced closely together throughout the show, had all these \u201cinside jokes,\u201d and appeared to be \u201csoulmates.\u201d Swift understandably reacted at the time by exclaiming, \u201cThe tea is crazy tonight, Travis!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSoon after, however, videos of Kelce dancing with Gerwig began to pop up online, prompting Swift to \u201cdo the math.\u201d When the pop star showed Kelce the videos and he replied, \u201cThat\u2019s not Greta,\u201d it clicked: He had mistaken Grant\u2019s wife for the <\/em>famed director. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThe good thing is he recognized true love,\u201d Meyers pointed out. \u201cHe saw soulmates, and he knew you were soulmates.\u201d<\/p>\n
