\n\tAlong with her Charlie 1 Horse cowboy hat, Lainey Wilson<\/a> is easily identified by another fashion signature: her bell-bottoms silhouette. The Louisiana singer has always had an affinity for the flared pants, and she committed to it fully with the release of her 2022 album Bell Bottom Country<\/a><\/em>, and recently took part in a live discussion at Nashville\u2019s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum about how her style and branding complement the music she makes.<\/p>\n \n\tNow, it\u2019s exceedingly rare to see Wilson in anything but bell bottoms. But after getting engaged to football player Devlin \u201cDuck\u201d Hodges in February \u2014 at the former home of George Jones<\/a> in Franklin, Tennessee \u2014 the \u201cSomewhere Over Laredo\u201d <\/a>songwriter will soon have a fashion choice to make. Will she indulge in her trademark bell-bottomed style on her wedding day?<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cMaybe for the afterparty,\u201d Wilson laughs. \u201cMaybe for the reception.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWilson opened up about her wedding-day wardrobe during an episode of Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2019s Nashville Now<\/a><\/em> podcast, all but confirming she\u2019ll leave the flares in the closet in favor of a traditional wedding dress.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cMaybe. We\u2019ll see. I haven\u2019t went shopping just yet, but I figure if there was any day to do it,\u201d she teases, adding that her fianc\u00e9 will be in disbelief. \u201cDuck will probably be shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWilson\u2019s ceremony is still in the planning stages and she says the couple haven\u2019t chosen a wedding song yet. But she admits she and Hodges have a soft spot for one artist in particular.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe love us some Eric Church. Eric Church is the artist we kind of bonded over,\u201d she says. \u201cDuck loves things that are a little left of center. He had no clue I worked with [producer] Jay Joyce, the same guy who did all of Eric\u2019s stuff. He was tickled when he found out.\u201d<\/p>\n
