On Thursday, Vives and Li Saumet released \u201cLa Samaria,\u201d accompanied by a vibrant video celebrating the 500th anniversary of Santa Marta and its rich cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cThis song means a lot to me because it\u2019s a song from my homeland\u2014where I grew up, where I was born and raised, and where I became the person I am,\u201d Li Saumet said in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s where I learned to connect with the Sierra, with the people, with the cultures of my land.
