D\u2019Angelo<\/a>, the legendary soul and R&B musician, has reportedly passed away at the age of 51.<\/p>\n The singer (real name Michael Eugene Archer) died on Tuesday (October 14) following a private battle with pancreatic cancer, according to TMZ<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The news was confirmed by D\u2019Angelo\u2019s former manager, Kedar Massenberg, although his family have yet to issue a statement.<\/p>\n Tributes have already begun pouring in for the celebrated crooner, with DJ Premier<\/a> writing on X (formerly Twitter): \u201c@Such a sad loss to the passing of D\u2019angelo. We have so many great times. Gonna miss you so much. Sleep Peacefully D. Love You KING.\u201d<\/p>\n Journalist and cultural critic Marc Lamont Hill added: \u201cMy sources tell me that D\u2019Angelo has passed. Wow. I have no words.
