“I think I\u2019ll know when it\u2019s time,” the tireless country legend said in a new interview<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
\n\tReba McEntire<\/a> celebrated her 70th birthday back in March, an age when many people may be thinking about retiring, but the country music and TV great still thinks she\u2019s got another couple of decades left before retirement.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tWhen asked when she might retire in a new interview with People<\/a><\/em>, McEntire replied frankly, \u201cI don\u2019t know when. It could be in 20 years.\u201d (That would put McEntire at the ripe age of 90.) She added: \u201cI think I\u2019ll know when it\u2019s time.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMcEntire went on to recall how she and Dolly Parton talked \u201can awful lot\u201d about retirement way back in the early 2000s, when Parton was a guest star on McEntire\u2019s hit sitcom, Reba<\/em>. \u201cI said, \u2018Are you going to retire?,\u2019\u201d McEntire remembered. \u201c[Parton] said, \u2018Why would I? What in the world could I do and have as much fun as what I\u2019m doing in this job right now?\u2019 I agree with her a hundred percent. Slow down, maybe, but no plans of retiring.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMcEntire is, of course, as busy as ever. She\u2019s currently doing her fourth stint as a coach<\/a> on The Voice<\/em>, which is in the middle of its 28th season. And the second season of her new sitcom, Happy\u2019s Place<\/em>, is about to launch its second season Nov. 7 on NBC.\u00a0<\/p>\n
