Brandon Blackstock<\/a> was well known as Kelly Clarkson<\/a>‘s husband and the father of their two kids.<\/p>\n But\u00a0Reba McEntire<\/a>\u00a0has a different perspective on the talent manager, who died<\/a> in August at 48 years old.<\/p>\n In a new interview with\u00a0People<\/a><\/em>, McEntire reflected on memories of Blackstock from long before his marriage to Clarkson. She was married to his father, Narvel Blackstock, for 26 years and got to know Brandon when he was just a little boy.<\/p>\n \u201cMy relationship with my stepson, Brandon Blackstock, was precious,\u201d McEntire recalls. \u201cI absolutely loved that child. He came into my life, I guess, when he was four years old. Then when Narvel and I got married, he was 13 or 14.\u201d<\/p>\n McEntire said Blackstock has been \u201csorely missed\u201d since his death, remembering his \u201cmischievousness and his love of life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe brought joy to everybody that met him, and we\u2019ll never forget him,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n That mischievousness and humor were constants throughout his life.
