Drake Milligan<\/a> stopped by the Taste of Country Nights<\/em><\/a> studio and it turns out, he’s got some surprising knowledge about what\u00a0George Strait<\/a>\u00a0and the late Elvis Presley<\/a>\u00a0have in common.<\/p>\n Turns out, both mastered the art of leaving an event without saying goodbye to anyone.<\/p>\n Milligan played Presley on the CMT show Sun Records<\/em>.<\/p>\n There, he got to learn first-hand just how smooth\u00a0Elvis was at leaving a building after an event. He heard those stories from Elvis’ closest living friends and relatives before portraying The King in the series.<\/p>\n “I did get to hang out a lot with George Klein, one of Elvis’ best friends from high school,” Milligan tells us. “He would ride around in the golf cart with me while I played golf and just feed me stories.'”<\/p>\n Here’s where the king of country music, George Strait<\/a> comes into play. There’s been so many events I’ve been at, where I’ve had backstage access and tried to like, catch him coming out somewhere.”<\/p>\n “That dude is like Elvis,” Milligan adds. “He will get on stage and then he’s gone.”<\/p>\n We were itching to know if Milligan left with any memorabilia after playing Elvis on Sun Records<\/em>.<\/p>\n “No, I don’t have any memorabilia yet. I do want something, I’m gonna find something one of these days to spend some money on,” he answers.<\/p>\n Milligan is signed to Stoney Creek Records, a subsidiary of BBR in Nashville.<\/p>\n Milligan is 27 years-old and was born on\u00a0June 1, 1998.<\/p>\n The 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 4,695-square-foot Palm Springs hideaway where Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley spent their honeymoon has sold for $5.65 million.
