A Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> spinoff titled Y: Marshals<\/em><\/a> is coming to television in 2026, and fans are hungry for information about the new show.<\/p>\n

What Is Y: Marshals<\/em>?<\/h3>\n

Y: Marshals<\/em> is an upcoming Yellowstone<\/em> spinoff that is coming to CBS in the upcoming 2026 midseason.<\/p>\n

The show stars ex-Yellowstone<\/em> star Luke Grimes<\/a>\u00a0as Kayce Dutton, the youngest of the Dutton siblings. He’s accepted a job as a U.S. Marshal in Montana, continuing in the law enforcement work Dutton had once intended to leave behind.<\/p>\n

Who Stars in Y: Marshals<\/em>?<\/h3>\n

Several familiar\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0faces will appear in Y: Marshals<\/em> in addition to Grimes.<\/p>\n

Brecken Merrill is set to reprise his role as Kayce’s son, Tate, and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) and Mo Brings Plenty (Mo) also return in their previous roles.<\/p>\n

It’s not clear if Kelsey Asbille will reprise her role as Monica Dutton.<\/p>\n

What Happens in the Trailer for Y: Marshals<\/em>?<\/h3>\n

The first look at the new show is relatively brief, and it focuses on a solemn-looking Kayce Dutton considering his new direction.<\/p>\n

“I’m changing paths, trying to find a new beginning,” he says in the trailer, followed by footage of Kayce giving chase to an SUV on horseback.<\/p>\n

When Does Y: Marshals<\/em> Premiere?<\/h3>\n

Y: Marshals<\/em> is tentatively set to debut mid-season in the Sunday nights 9PM time slot, but CBS has not yet set a premiere date.<\/p>\n

The trailer indicates the show is “coming soon.”<\/p>\n

Y: Marshals<\/em> Season 1 will comprise 13 episodes, according to People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
