This year, the dates are May 14-17. Over 140 bands in total will play the five stages Sonic Temple has set up over the four-day period.<\/p>\n<p>My Chemical Romance will headline the opening day (Thursday, May 14) with primary support from <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/pierce-the-veil\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pierce the Veil<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/breaking-benjamin\/\" target=\"_blank\">Breaking Benjamin<\/a>. The Friday (May 15) bill has Shinedown in the top spot with primary support from <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/the-offspring\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Offspring<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/staind\/\" target=\"_blank\">Staind<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday (May 16), Bring Me the Horizon close things out after sets from <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/good-charlotte\/\" target=\"_blank\">Good Charlotte<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/marilyn-manson\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marilyn Manson<\/a>. And Sunday (May 17), the festival comes to a close with an epic set from Tool after <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/godsmack\/\" target=\"_blank\">Godsmack<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/megadeth\/\" target=\"_blank\">Megadeth<\/a> play.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/brent-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brent Smith<\/a> of Shinedown says, &#8220;Barry, Zach, Eric and I have waited for this opportunity to be a headliner at Sonic Temple for a very long time.
