The night would turn out to be a record-tying 18th inning game that saw the Dodgers take the win and a brief lead before the Jays returned for Game 4 on Tuesday, securing a\u00a06-2 victory.\u00a0 <\/p>\n \n\tIt was the fourth time that Paisley\u2019s guitar preceded extra innings, as the musician sang the anthem for the World Series three times prior in Los Angeles including Game 2 in 2017 that led to 11 innings, Game 3 in 2018 with 18 innings, and Game 1 in 2024 at 10 innings. His latest performance also marked one of two of the longest marathons in World Series history at 18-innings.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cLast night around, the 16th inning, I was going \u2018There\u2019s no way this is happening again,’\u201d Paisley told The Associated Press<\/a><\/em> on Tuesday. \u201cI sat there in the in the seat when it ended last night, just staring, like, \u2018OK, what does this even mean?\u2019 And then I didn\u2019t even realize \u2018til today when a couple of these statisticians started compiling stuff\u2026 So I said today, I\u2019m available for football games, too. If anybody wants, you know, another quarter or two out of their team.\u201d<\/p>\n
