Netflix<\/a> has shared a new trailer for the fifth and final season<\/a> of Stranger Things<\/em><\/a>. In the clip, each member of the cast can be seen rallying together to put an end to things, before dispersing across their homes, school, hospital, and elsewhere to make quick work in hopes of surviving. Watch it below.<\/p>\n Season 5 of Stranger Things<\/em> takes place in the fall of 1987 and is billed as the lead-up to one final battle. \u201cHawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna,\u201d reads the synopsis. \u201cThe final battle is looming\u2014and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they\u2019ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they\u2019ll need everyone\u2014the full party\u2014standing together, one last time.\u201d<\/p>\n After three years of teasing<\/a>, the fifth season of Stranger Things<\/em> went into production<\/a> at the start of 2024 and will finally be released soon in three volumes. The first four episodes hit Netflix on Wednesday, November 26; the next three episodes air on Christmas; and the series finale comes out on New Year\u2019s Eve. Each volume will be available on Netflix at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.<\/p>\n The first season<\/a> of Stranger Things<\/em> premiered on Netflix in July 2016. Several of its stars have since doubled their acting resume while also pursuing music careers. Joe Keery has climbed the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100 with Djo<\/a> while maintaining his band Post Animal<\/a>. Meanwhile, Maya Hawke<\/a> has dropped several albums, the most recent of which is 2024\u2019s Chaos Angel<\/a>.<\/em> The show\u2019s biggest breakout star, Finn Wolfhard<\/a>, also found success with his band Calpurnia<\/a> and as a solo artist, releasing his debut full-length Happy Birthday<\/em><\/a> this year.<\/p>\n
