\n\tBenson Boone<\/a> canceled his Birmingham, England concert an hour before it was scheduled to start on Saturday due to him suffering vocal and throat issues. He was supposed to perform at Utilita Arena during his tour in support of American Heart.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

\n\tIn a statement posted on a since-expired Instagram Story, the singer apologized to fans and added that he was working with his team to reschedule the concert for another time.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBirmingham I am so so sorry but I will not be able to perform tonight,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI have tried everything I can to revive my voice, but I cannot give you the show I\u2019d like to be able to give you with the condition of my throat right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer added: \u201cThis is genuinely the crappiest feeling, I am so sorry. I promise you I will do everything in my power to make it up to you. I\u2019ll update you guys as soon as I can. Thank you for everything you do. I love you guys so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tUtilita Arena confirmed the cancellation to the BBC<\/a>, saying in a statement that it was \u201cworking through all possible options to reschedule.\u201d The venue added: \u201cWe understand how disappointing this is and sincerely apologise for the extremely short notice and inconvenience caused.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s unclear whether Boone will return to the stage for his three scheduled consecutive dates at London\u2019s O2 Arena, which kick-off on Monday. Boone\u2019s international leg of his tour is currently set for European stops through November, including shows in Paris, Amsterdam, and Stockholm.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring Boone\u2019s North American tour run<\/a>, which wrapped in October, his set list included a cover song at every show. In September at his Nashville stop, Boone delivered his rendition<\/a> of Jason Isbell\u2019s \u201cCover Me Up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
