\n\tHilary Duff<\/a> recently promised<\/a> fans new music will arrive \u201cin the blink of an eye\u201d \u2014 and she wasn\u2019t joking. The actress-singer has announced her new single \u201cMature,\u201d out Nov. 6.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMature\u201d will be Duff\u2019s first single in a decade, following \u201cSparks\u201d from 2015\u2019s Breathe In. Breathe Out.<\/em> The single artwork features an image of Duff overlapped three times, with the title written in pink. <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter teasing <\/a>on social media, Duff officially announced her return to music back in September<\/a>, when she signed with Atlantic Records. The news sparked immense joy<\/a> from her fanbase, so much so that Rolling Stone <\/em>reported <\/a>a 400 percent increase in searches for her music on Spotify.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuff is also slated to star in an upcoming docuseries chronicling her new musical era, as she records and prepares for her first performances in 10 years. The project will be directed by Sam Wrench, who worked on Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter<\/em><\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuff has been in the studio with her husband, Matthew Koma, a musician and producer who worked on Breathe In. Breathe Out<\/em> (he currently fronts Winnetka Bowling League). \u201cI always knew I was going to return to music,\u201d she said in a recent interview<\/a> with Variety<\/em>. \u201cI needed to feel safe and I needed to have the right people in my corner and be absolutely 100 percent ready. Honestly, I needed to have 10 years of life under my belt. I needed a lot to say. This album feels like the inner workings of my brain and I really am so excited to connect with people again on that level, that very forward-facing level.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
