Yes<\/a>‘ 1973 double album prog milestone,\u00a0Tales From Topographic Oceans<\/a><\/em>, is getting a massive overhaul early next year.<\/p>\n The box set will\u00a0expand the album to 12 CDs plus a Blu-ray featuring various mixes and remasters. It will be released on Feb. 6.<\/p>\n You can hear the single edit of the album’s opening song, “The Revealing Science of God (Dance of the Dawn),” from the upcoming set below.<\/p>\n Tales From Topographic Oceans (Super Deluxe Edition)<\/em>\u00a0will include multiple discs, featuring a newly remastered version of the album, as well as previously unreleased studio and live recordings.<\/span><\/p>\n A vinyl version of the remastered set will also be available<\/a>.<\/p>\n READ MORE:<\/strong> The Best Album by Prog’s 15 Biggest Artists<\/a><\/p>\n Steven Wilson, who has\u00a0previously worked on new mixes of several Yes albums, remixed\u00a0Tales From Topographic Oceans (Super Deluxe Edition)<\/em><\/span>, including a Dolby Atmos version.<\/p>\n Tales From Topographic Oceans\u00a0<\/em>arrived in December 1973 as Yes’ sixth album, following their streak of early ’70s prog classics\u00a0The Yes Album<\/a><\/em> (1971), Fragile<\/em> (1971) and\u00a0Close to the Edge<\/a><\/em> (1973).<\/p>\n Watch a Trailer Announcing Yes’ ‘Tales From Topographic Oceans (Super Deluxe Edition)’<\/strong><\/p>\n The two-album set featured only four songs, one per side, and was the first to include drummer Alan White<\/a>, who replaced Bill Bruford<\/a>.
