Death Grips<\/a> are working on a new album. \u201cThe Writing and recording of our next album is underway,\u201d Stefan \u201cMC Ride\u201d Burnett and Zach Hill<\/a> shared on Instagram<\/a>, along with a carousel of photos from the recording studio. \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to the new Death Grips record.\u201d<\/p>\n Death Grips have not released a new album since 2018\u2019s Year of the Snitch<\/em><\/a>. The band toured<\/a> in 2023, and, this past April, resurfaced to confirm<\/a> that Death Grips remain \u201cactive.\u201d The note came after seemingly now-former member Andy Morin suggested privately<\/a> that the project ended.<\/p>\n Since the last Death Grips album, Zach Hill launched<\/a> a band called Undo K From Hot<\/a>. He also reissued the Hella<\/a> album Hold Your Horse Is<\/em><\/a> in 2023. And, just last week, he and the Australian experimental musician Lucas Abela released an album titled Bag of Max Bag of Cass<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
