The 2026 Grammy nominations have been announced \u2014 and Kendrick Lamar<\/a> is leading the way again.<\/p>\n

Following the chart-topping success of GNX<\/em> and its string of hit singles, King Kendrick is up for nine awards at next year\u2019s Grammys, the most among all artists.<\/p>\n

The Compton superstar is nominated in each of the \u201cBig Three\u201d categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year, the latter two of which he won at this year\u2019s awards<\/a> for his hit Drake diss \u201cNot Like Us.\u201d<\/p>\n

He is also a front-runner in all four hip-hop categories (Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Melodic Rap Performance), as well as Best Pop Duo\/Group Performance thanks to his \u201c30 For 30\u201d collaboration with SZA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kendrick faces stiff competition for rap silverware from the likes of Clipse<\/a>, Tyler, The Creator<\/a>, JID<\/a>, GloRilla<\/a>, Cardi B<\/a>, Doechii<\/a> and his archrival Drake<\/a>, whose sole nomination is in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.<\/p>\n
