The nominees for the 2026 Grammy Award<\/a> for Song of the Year have been announced. Billie Eilish<\/a>, Lady Gaga<\/a>, and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> are all nominated for the second year running, as are Kendrick Lamar<\/a> and Bruno Mars<\/a> for their respective collaborations with SZA<\/a> and Ros\u00e9<\/a>. Rounding out the category are Bad Bunny<\/a>, Doechii<\/a>, and the songwriters behind the KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> hit \u201cGolden.\u201d See all of the 2026 Grammy nominations here<\/a>.<\/p>\n After \u201cNot Like Us<\/a>\u201d swept every category in which it was nominated at the 2025 Grammys<\/a> (including Song of the Year<\/a>), Lamar is eyeing back-to-back wins with his SZA duet \u201cLuther<\/a>.\u201d Mars has also become a hot commodity, appearing among last year\u2019s nominees on Lady Gaga\u2019s \u201cDie With a Smile<\/a>\u201d and this year alongside Ros\u00e9 on \u201cApt.,\u201d from the Blackpink<\/a> member\u2019s solo debut, Rosie<\/em><\/a>. Lady Gaga herself is recognized for her Mayhem<\/em><\/a> single \u201cAbracadabra<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Eilish, meanwhile, extends a now-three-year streak of Song of the Year nominations, which began with \u201cWhat Was I Made For?<\/a>\u201d, her contribution to the Barbie<\/em> soundtrack<\/a>, and continued with the single \u201cBirds of a Feather<\/a>\u201d from her 2024 album, Hit Me Hard and Soft<\/em><\/a>. Eilish\u2019s 2026 entry, \u201cWildflower\u201d also appears on Hit Me Hard and Soft<\/em>\u2014which came out out in March 2024, outside of this year\u2019s eligibility window\u2014but was re-released as a single earlier this year.<\/p>\n Carpenter shares both of her Song of the Year nods to date\u2014for \u201cPlease Please Please\u201d at the 2025 Grammys and now for \u201cManchild,\u201d the lead single from Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/em><\/a>\u2014with co-writer Jack Antonoff<\/a>. Both first-time nominees in the category, Bad Bunny is nominated for the title track<\/a> off his album Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos<\/em><\/a>, and Doechii for her one-off single \u201cAnxiety,\u201d which features a prominent sample of 2013 Record of the Year winner Gotye<\/a>\u2019s \u201cSomebody That I Used to Know.\u201d<\/p>\n At the 2025 Grammys<\/a>, the Song of the Year category<\/a> included Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s \u201cTexas Hold \u2019Em<\/a>,\u201d Chappell Roan<\/a>\u2019s \u201cGood Luck, Babe!<\/a>,\u201d Kendrick Lamar\u2019s \u201cNot Like Us<\/a>,\u201d Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s \u201cEspresso<\/a>,\u201d and others.
