The initial list of artists slated for the project includes Margo Price, Sarah Jarosz, Erin Rae, Brennen Leigh, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/rodney-crowell\/\" id=\"auto-tag_rodney-crowell\" data-tag=\"rodney-crowell\">Rodney Crowell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/andrew-combs\/\" id=\"auto-tag_andrew-combs\" data-tag=\"andrew-combs\">Andrew Combs<\/a>, and Caroline Randall Williams, with several more artists to eventually join the project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe lead single is a tender rendition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-lists\/guy-clark-12-essential-songs-67139\/\">\u201cDesperadoes Waiting for a Train\u201d<\/a> by Combs featuring Clark\u2019s old friend Crowell. \u201cI kept telling [producer] Dan [Knobler]\u2026 \u2018if you were to tell 18-year-old me that one day I\u2019d be recording a Guy Clark song with Rodney Crowell, I\u2019d have lost my damn mind,\u2019\u201d Combs said. \u201cTo this day, whenever I sit down to write, I think about [Guy].\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Desperados Waiting For A Train - Andrew Combs ft. Throughout the fall, there is an \u201cOld No. 1 at 50\u201d show touring the country with artists like Crowell, Radney Foster, Rosie Flores, and many more performing Clark\u2019s music.
