This year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> ceremony in Los Angeles is turning out some fabulous looks.<\/p>\n Of this year’s inductees in the performer category, four are first-time nominees: Bad Company<\/a>, Joe Cocker<\/a>, OutKast and Chubby Checker<\/a>. Then there’s Soundgarden<\/a> on their third nomination, while Cyndi Lauper<\/a> and the White Stripes<\/a> have each been nominated twice.<\/p>\n “I’m humbled to be in the company of so many of my heroes \u2014 Aretha<\/a>, Tina<\/a>, Chaka<\/a>, Joni<\/a>, Wanda, to name just a few,” Lauper said<\/a> on social media back in April when the inductees were announced. “Women have made so many important contributions to music and to rock ‘n’ roll and a win for one of us is a win for all of us. Thank you to the voting members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for this honor. And thank you to my fans for supporting me throughout my career.
