She said that Evans wanted to be a parent sooner rather than later, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/country\/kelsea-ballerini-knew-her-marriage-was-over-when-she-realized-she-wasnt-ready-for-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\">claiming<\/a> he didn&#8217;t want to be an &#8220;old dad.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But Ballerini wasn&#8217;t ready, and made a doctor&#8217;s appointment to talk about freezing her eggs, without telling Evans until afterward.<\/p>\n<p>When she did tell him, her husband pushed back.
