\n\tTate McRae<\/a> has had a busy weekend. On Friday, the pop star earned her first Grammy nomination<\/a>, for \u201cJust Keep Watching\u201d from the F1<\/em> <\/a>soundtrack. On Saturday, she wrapped her massive tour in Los Angeles \u2014 and announced the deluxe edition of So Close to What<\/em><\/a>, out Nov. 21 via RCA.<\/p>\n

\n\tSO CLOSE TO WHAT??? (deluxe)<\/a><\/em> will feature several new tracks, including McRae\u2019s recent hit \u201cTit For Tat<\/a>,\u201d which debuted at Number Three on the Billboard Hot 100. \u201cWe had a few more songs that I wanted to share with y\u2019all to close out the SC2W era,\u201d McRae wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI can\u2019t wait for you to hear.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMcRae\u2019s Miss Possessive Tour spanned 83 dates, including three nights at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden (two shows in September<\/a>, and a third in October). At the MTV VMAs<\/a> earlier this year, she performed a medley of the So Close to What <\/em>cuts \u201cSports Car\u201d and \u201cRevolving Door.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMcRae released So Close to What,<\/em> her third album, in Feb. 2025, and it debuted<\/a> at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 \u2014 her first LP to do so. In an interview with Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em>, McRae said the title stems from \u201cthe idea of not being present at times, feeling like you\u2019re trying to control everything, feeling perceived by so many people, feeling like I\u2019m 21 and the oldest I\u2019ve ever felt but also so young.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe added: \u201cIn the moment, I\u2019m [asking] \u2018What do I want out of life? What do I want to do with my music? How do I want to change things?\u2019 If people have an opinion on that, that\u2019s their choice. If I can sleep well at night thinking about what I\u2019m putting out there, then their opinions don\u2019t matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
