On Friday, the pop star earned her first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/grammy-nominations-2026-full-list-1235461536\/\">Grammy nomination<\/a>, for \u201cJust Keep Watching\u201d from the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv-movies\/tv-movie-reviews\/f1-review-brad-pitt-formula-one-1235353444\/\"><em> F1<\/em> <\/a>soundtrack. On Saturday, she wrapped her massive tour in Los Angeles \u2014 and announced the deluxe edition of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/tate-mcrae-so-close-to-what-review-1235275458\/\"> <em>So Close to What<\/em><\/a>, out Nov. 21 via RCA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t<em><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/tatemcrae.store\/\" target=\"_blank\">SO CLOSE TO WHAT??? In an interview with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/tate-mcrae-new-album-so-close-to-what-the-kid-laroi-1235272725\/\">Rolling Stone<\/a><\/em>, McRae said the title stems from \u201cthe idea of not being present at times, feeling like you\u2019re trying to control everything, feeling perceived by so many people, feeling like I\u2019m 21 and the oldest I\u2019ve ever felt but also so young.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tShe added: \u201cIn the moment, I\u2019m [asking] \u2018What do I want out of life? What do I want to do with my music? How do I want to change things?\u2019 If people have an opinion on that, that\u2019s their choice.
