Max B<\/a> is officially a free man after spending more than 15 years behind bars.<\/p>\n The Harlem-bred rapper was released from prison on Sunday (November 9) and was welcomed home by friends and family, including longtime collaborator French Montana<\/a>.<\/p>\n A video posted by French on social media showed the two rappers embracing each other in an emotional (and long-awaited) moment outside of the prison.<\/p>\n \u201cCANT MAKE THIS UP ! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY B DAY ! HAMDULILLAH,\u201d the Coke Boys capo captioned the clip. \u201cWALKED IT DOWN ! NO MORE FREE YOU\u00a0 [wave emojis].\u201d<\/p>\n Max B (real name Charley Wingate) served 16 years for his role in an armed robbery-gone-wrong that resulted in a man\u2019s death.<\/p>\n He was arrested back in 2007 on murder and robbery conspiracy charges<\/a> after David Taylor was killed in an armed robbery that Max had allegedly orchestrated.<\/p>\n The Million Dollar Baby<\/em> rapper originally received a 75-year prison sentence that was later changed to 20 years after he pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter.<\/p>\n Biggavel has already been making the most his newfound freedom. French Montana posted a video on Instagram of them in the studio together working on a third installment of their fan-favorite Coke Wave<\/em> mixtape.<\/p>\n Max also attended Sunday\u2019s New York Jets game against the Cleveland Browns. \u201cI feel righteous! I feel good! I\u2019m grateful, thankful. God is good,\u201d he said in a brief interview with the popular Instagram \u2018fit channel The People Gallery.<\/p>\n Getting right back to the music grind, the newly-freed rapper is set to embark on a seven-date tour<\/a> this month, playing clubs across the East Coast including in New York City, Rhode Island and Trenton.<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n
