Damon Albarn<\/a> has released another song from the forthcoming Gorillaz<\/a> album The Mountain<\/em><\/a>. The new single, \u201cThe God of Lying<\/a>,\u201d features Idles<\/a>. Check it out below.<\/p>\n

Albarn wrote \u201cThe God of Lying\u201d with Idles frontman Joe Talbot. He recorded it in London and Devon, England, and Mumbai, with bansuri player Ajay Prasanna and percussionist Viraj Acharya. In a statement, Gorillaz\u2019s fictional frontman, 2D, said, \u201cCan I tell you a secret? Doubt is very tiring but questioning things is really good for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Mountain<\/em> is out March 20. The follow-up to 2023\u2019s Cracker Island<\/em><\/a> includes recent singles \u201cThe Happy Dictator<\/a>\u201d (featuring Sparks) and \u201cThe Manifesto<\/a>\u201d (featuring Trueno and the late D12 rapper Proof).<\/p>\n
