\n\tKenny \u201cBabyface<\/a>\u201d Edmonds\u2019 life and career will be explored in an upcoming documentary<\/a> directed by Chris Moukarbel, who helmed Gaga: Five Foot Two<\/em> and Cypher<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tBacked by HarbourView Equity Partners and produced by Kenya Barris, the film will examine Babyface\u2019s collaborations with the likes of Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, Eric Clapton, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Lil Wayne, Beyonc\u00e9, Madonna, and SZA.<\/p>\n \n\tAccording to a press release, the doc will feature interviews with the 13-time Grammy winner where he \u201creveals how he channeled his own personal heartbreaks into creating the soundtrack for millions of love stories around the world.\u201d The film will also include interviews with many of Babyface\u2019s collaborators, his \u201cnever-before-seen personal archive,\u201d and footage of his upcoming shows at the Palms in Las Vegas.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019ve often wondered how an unassuming kid from Indianapolis got to where he is today, working with artists and achieving dreams I could\u2019ve never imagined when I first started,\u201d\u00a0said Babyface in a statement.\u00a0\u201cThis documentary is giving me a chance to go down memory lane with a fine-tooth comb, reexamining the highs and lows of my life and career.
