Rauw Alejandro<\/a> took the stage Thursday night to perform a medley of songs from both his nominated Cosa Nuestra<\/a><\/em> album and its prequel Capitulo 0<\/em><\/a>, inspired by the roots of Puerto Rican music.<\/p>\n \n\tRauw opened the show with the saxy and sexy \u201cKhe?\u201d Thematically, the performance tapped into the cultural traditions of the island as he was surrounded by bomba drums and dancers and vejigantes while he performed \u201cCarita Linda,\u201d the opening track of Capitulo 0.<\/em> Then, he continued with \u201cSilencio\u201d and \u201cFalsedad\u201d from the newest project.<\/p>\n \n\tAt this year\u2019s awards, Alejandro\u2019s album Cosa Nuestra <\/a><\/em>is nominated for Album of the Year. The musician\u2019s song \u201cBaja Pa\u2019 Ac\u00e1\u201d featuring Alexis & Fido is also up for Best Reggaeton Performance.<\/p>\n \n\tAlejandro is a two-time Latin Grammy winner: He took home the trophy for Best Urban Fusion\/Performance for \u201cTattoo (Remix)\u201d<\/a> with Camilo in 2021, and his work on his then-girlfriend Rosal\u00eda\u2019s Motomami<\/a><\/em> earned him a win for Album of the Year in 2022.<\/p>\n
