\n\tKacey Musgraves<\/a> and Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n brought a touch of Nashville to the Latin Grammys<\/a> in Las Vegas. During Thursday night\u2019s ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the m\u00fasica mexicana star was joined by the Nashville queen for a performance of their bilingual collaboration, \u201cLost in Translation.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tDressed in his classic tall sombrero, Le\u00f3n opened his performance solo with his sweet ballad \u201cAh\u00ed Estabas T\u00fa\u201d from Palabra de To\u2019s<\/em>, backed by the strums of the requinto. Then, Musgraves emerged on a second stage in a sparkly black dress as they transitioned into \u201cLost in Translation\u201d and sang the love song to each other, trading verses in Spanglish.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Latin-country duo released \u201cLost in Translation<\/a>\u201d on Aug. 29 about a love that defeats language barriers. Musgraves and Le\u00f3n co-wrote the song alongside Amy Allen and Shane McAnally, with Julian Bunetta and Matt Zara serving as producers.<\/p>\n \n\tMusgraves previously said of their collab, \u201cGrowing up singing traditional country and western music, I\u2019ve always loved exploring the borders of Country and where it blends with other styles like norte\u00f1o and some regional Mexican sounds that I heard a lot of in Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMusgraves and Le\u00f3n first met in Nashville, <\/a>and got to duet to Juan Gabriel and Roc\u00edo D\u00farcal\u2019s \u201cFue Un Placer Conocerte.\u201d<\/p>\n
