Waxahatchee<\/a> have announced a run of North American tour dates for 2026, and this time Katie Crutchfield<\/a> and her band are bringing along a co-headliner: MJ Lenderman<\/a>. They will perform both solo and together at shows starting next April at Atlanta\u2019s Symphony Hall, with further stops in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Toronto, Minneapolis, Seattle, and elsewhere, with support from Nashville country artist Brennan Wedl. In February, Crutchfield released the standalone single \u201cMud<\/a>,\u201d an outtake from Tigers Blood<\/em>\u2019s recording sessions. More recently, she teamed up with her twin sister, Allison<\/a>, to form the band Snocaps<\/a> (with accompaniment from Lenderman) and surprise-release a debut album<\/a> in October. Snocaps will also hit the road for a brief tour<\/a> next month.<\/p>\n MJ Lenderman\u2019s latest studio LP, Manning Fireworks<\/em><\/a>, arrived in September 2024. Since then, the Asheville, North Carolina, singer-songwriter collaborated<\/a> with This Is Lorelei<\/a>\u2019s Nate Amos for \u201cDancing in the Club (MJ Lenderman Version)<\/a>\u201d and contributed a new song to a benefit compilation<\/a> for Asheville-based artists affected by Hurricane Helene<\/a> last year.
