Shine<\/em><\/a> is Tobias Jesso Jr.<\/a>\u2019s second solo album, but, in the decade since his debut, Goon<\/em>,<\/a> the Canadian singer-songwriter has become an industry veteran. In notching up co-writing credits for Adele<\/a>, Dua Lipa<\/a>, Bon Iver<\/a>, and Haim<\/a>, as well as a Grammy-winning turn<\/a> on Harry Styles<\/a>\u2019 Harry\u2019s House<\/em><\/a>, Jesso has nonetheless shied from the spotlight. Shine<\/em> returns him to center stage, albeit with minimal fanfare: recorded live at the piano, with occasional guest input from old collaborators like Danielle Haim<\/a> and Justin Vernon<\/a>.
