Sean Combs: The Reckoning<\/em>, a Netflix docuseries about Diddy<\/a>\u2019s rise and fall from grace, will arrive on December 2. Long in the works, the series of four hourlong episodes is executive produced by 50 Cent<\/a> and directed by Alexandria Stapleton.<\/p>\n The series will feature new interviews with \u201cthose formerly in his orbit,\u201d according to a Netflix press release, but no further details were given. In an interview<\/a> about the series, 50 Cent said, \u201cI\u2019m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n Stapleton added, \u201cThis isn\u2019t just about the story of Sean Combs or the story of Cassie, or the story of any of the victims, or the allegations against him, or the trial. Ultimately, this story is a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal. I hope [this documentary] is a wake-up call for how we idolize people, and to understand that everybody is a human being.\u201d<\/p>\n Diddy is currently serving a prison sentence of more than four years for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is also facing numerous civil lawsuits and, as of this month, an investigation<\/a> by the Los Angeles County sheriff\u2019s department into new allegations of sexual battery.<\/p>\n
