\n\tFKA Twigs<\/a>, Sturgill Simpson<\/a>, and others will star in The Lonely Woman<\/em>, an upcoming thriller written and directed by electronic duo Boy Harsher<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tSet in rural New England, The Lonely Woman<\/em> follows a woman whose first love died in a mountain tunnel, and becomes engrossed in a new disappearance. It also stars Chlo\u00eb Sevigny, singer-songwriter Bonnie \u201cPrince\u201d Billy (Will Oldham<\/a>), and others. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Lonely Woman <\/em>will mark Boy Harsher\u2019s first feature film, which they\u2019ll also supply the soundtrack for. The duo \u2014 Augustus Muller and Jae Matthews \u2014 first directed the 2022 short The Runner<\/em>. The film recently completed principal photography in Upstate New York, and is expecting to be released next year. <\/p>\n

\n\tFKA Twigs is also slated to star in Lotfy Nathan\u2019s upcoming biblical horror film The Carpenter\u2019s Son<\/a><\/em>, alongside Nicolas Cage. She\u2019s also featured in David Lowery\u2019s Mother Mary<\/em>, which also stars Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, with music by Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff. According to Variety<\/a><\/em>, she\u2019s also in talks to star in a Josephine Baker biopic.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier this year, Twigs released both\u00a0<\/i>Eusexua<\/a> and Eusexua Afterglow<\/a>. She was recently named one of Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s Voices of the Year<\/a>, and participated in the Rolling Stone Interview.<\/a> \u201cWhen I think about\u00a0Eusexua,\u00a0<\/em>it\u2019s just about being able to be, and accepting yourself, and accepting other people,\u201d she told us. \u201cWe\u2019re just like these beautiful lights. I always talk about the light inside my chest. That\u2019s me. I\u2019m not FKA Twigs, or I\u2019m not even Tahlia. I\u2019m a tiny light inside my chest, which is just filled with endless love and possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
