That is the quickest and most consistent thing that I\u2019ve learned through this whole thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>T-Pain then called out DJ Khaled specifically, saying: \u201cI\u2019ve had fucking DJ Khaled and everybody tell me, \u2018I\u2019m your brother.\u2019 Do not believe that shit!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, DJ Khaled knows how to move, he knows how to do things with different people. But it\u2019s not [just] a DJ Khaled thing \u2014 that\u2019s just the first person I can think of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cYou gotta think about how many people I\u2019ve helped throughout their career. Everybody is like, \u2018Oh my God, thank you so much. You\u2019re my brother\u2019 \u2026 And then none of that shit was reciprocated. None of that shit meant anything.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen people tell you how much you mean to them, don\u2019t grab onto that. When people tell you how much they can mean to you in return, that\u2019s the shit you [should] gravitate towards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" width=\"900\" height=\"315\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/yDiRJHRwf0o?si=0dd_RTjHqZvUAhIx\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>T-Pain and DJ Khaled teamed up for a number of massive hits in the mid to late 2000s and early 2010s, most notably \u201cAll I Do Is Win,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m So Hood\u201d and \u201cGo Hard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But their relationship soured in 2013 when Teddy Pain began to feel overlooked by the We The Best boss in favor of another Auto-Tune auteur, <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/future\" target=\"_blank\">Future<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFuture is on right now. Khaled deals with who\u2019s hot at the time, so of course he don\u2019t need T-Pain when he got another T-Pain. It\u2019s not really a big deal for him to switch people,\u201d he told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vibe.com\/features\/editorial\/interview-t-pain-why-hes-not-dj-khaleds-new-album-future-hottest-nia-right-now-185222\/\" target=\"_blank\">VIBE<\/a><\/em> in 2013 when asked about his absence on Khaled\u2019s <em>Suffering From Success<\/em> album.<\/p>\n<p>An <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/rocko-says-t-pain-was-out-of-line-for-his-future-critiques\/\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram post from T-Pain seemingly dissing Future<\/a> over his \u201cBugatti\u201d collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/nas\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ace Hood<\/a> only further fractured his relationship with Khaled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFuture didn\u2019t get mad \u2026 He ignored the whole thing \u2026 And then Khaled hit me like, \u2018That\u2019s what you doing?&#8217;\u201d T-Pain explained during a 2021 appearance on <em>Drink Champs<\/em>. \u201cI was like, \u2018Yeah, bro. You said that [Future\u2019s \u2018Bugatti\u2019 hook] was his and I didn\u2019t have anything to do with it.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was like, \u2018Look back at the video.\u2019 I looked back at it and I was like, \u2018Okay, I don\u2019t have a rebuttal for this.\u2019 I was like the worst fucking friend ever. Khaled was like, \u2018Take the post down!
