So the singer came up with a solution: He refunded the entire crowd, giving up his own paycheck from that night to do so.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why Did Chris Young Refund His Wisconsin Show?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On social media, Young thanked the concertgoers who made it out to the show, but stressed that nothing was more important than his fans&#8217; safety.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I waived my fee for this show so all tickets can be refunded. I have instructed the venue to refund tickets to the point of purchase, whether you were there or not,&#8221; the singer wrote.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"width:calc(100% - 2px);padding:0;min-width:326px;max-width:540px;margin:1px;box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15);border-radius:3px;border:0;background:#FFF\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DRsNPY5Dtn8\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"\/>\n<p>&#8220;Your safety is of the utmost importance and is never taken for granted,&#8221; Young continued. &#8220;Sending love to your families and I hope you have a safe and happy holiday.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What Happened During Chris Young&#8217;s Wisconsin Show?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Per local ABC affiliate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisn.com\/article\/first-major-winter-storm-blankets-southeast-wisconsin-in-snow\/69583094\" target=\"_blank\">WISN<\/a>, a winter storm dumped between three and six inches of accumulation across southeast Wisconsin over the weekend. Snowfall and high winds contributed to difficult driving conditions for the day of Young&#8217;s show.<\/p>\n<p>The day before Young was scheduled to play, the venue posted an update saying they were monitoring the weather.<\/p>\n<p>Several Facebook users replied to say they hoped the show would be rescheduled, since they wouldn&#8217;t be able to travel in order to get to the show.<br \/><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fcrystalgrand%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02iZHZCP3hgxi3fELucjZoQqix4AVFCzPt8YcQZn7h129QwCEaNjABs8kZPv38hJ1Ml&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>At the time, the venue was already offering ticket exchanges for those who knew they wouldn&#8217;t be able to make it, but said it would ultimately have to be the singer&#8217;s call whether or not the show got rescheduled, since it would be &#8220;a breach of a $$$,$$$ contract&#8221; for them to cancel.<\/p>\n<p>A later post shows photos of Young&#8217;s meet and greets during his time at the theater.<\/p>\n<p>Many fans chimed in the comments section to say how much they enjoyed the show, and one commenter said the venue and Young both went &#8220;above and beyond&#8221; to make the event a great experience despite tough circumstances.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Read More<\/em>: <a href=\"https:\/\/tasteofcountry.com\/chris-young-debut-album-2006\/\" target=\"_blank\">Remember When Chris Young Released His Debut Album?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From other comments, it seems like Young&#8217;s show was a little shorter than usual in light of the adverse weather.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were a little bummed that the show was kept short.
