Aerosmith<\/a> has become just the fifth act in history to achieve an elusive\u00a0Billboard<\/em>\u00a0chart feat with the release of their new EP,\u00a0One More Time<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n The five-song set, released as a collaborative project with\u00a028-year-old British\u00a0rocker Yungblud<\/a>, debuted inside the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 this week, bowing at No. 9. In doing so, Aerosmith becomes the fifth artist (and only second group) to score a newly-charting Top 10 album in each of the past six decades.<\/p>\n Aerosmith’s latest Billboard 200 achievement puts them in the same company as Paul McCartney<\/a>, the Rolling Stones<\/a>, Bruce Springsteen<\/a> and James Taylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n READ MORE:<\/strong> Top 20 Aerosmith Songs<\/a><\/p>\n Aerosmith’s Top 10 chart streak dates back to the mid-’70s when they first rose to stardom. The Boston rockers earned their first and only Top 10 album of the ’70s with 1976’s\u00a0Rocks<\/a><\/em>, which peaked at No. 3. (Two other successful releases,\u00a0Toys in the Attic<\/a><\/em> and\u00a0Draw the Line<\/a><\/em>, peaked at No. 11.)<\/p>\n The band returned to the Top 10 with 1989’s\u00a0Pump<\/em>, which peaked at No. 5. (Once again, its multiplatinum predecessor,\u00a0Permanent Vacation<\/a><\/em>, stalled at No. 11.)\u00a0Aerosmith leveled up their chart game in\u00a0the ’90s, scoring back-to-back No. 1s with 1993’s\u00a0Get a Grip<\/em><\/a> and 1997’s\u00a0Nine Lives<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Their chart success continued into the new millennium, with 2001’s\u00a0Just Push Play<\/a><\/em> reaching No. 2.\u00a0Aerosmith’s next two albums \u2014 2004’s\u00a0Honkin’ on Bobo<\/a><\/em> and 2012’s\u00a0Music From Another Dimension!<\/a><\/em> \u2014 both\u00a0peaked at No. 5.<\/p>\n One More Time<\/em> marks Aerosmith’s first release\u00a0since Music From Another Dimension!<\/em>\u00a0and first major endeavor since cancelling<\/a> their Peace Out farewell tour in 2023 due to Steven Tyler<\/a>‘s insurmountable vocal injury.
