They’re asking for information in regard to his cremation, any personal effects he had when he was delivered to the facility and the disposition of those effects.<\/p>\n On Nov. 25, a Tennessee judge dismissed the subpoena<\/a> against Pickler over her husband’s property, ruling that it was improperly submitted and therefore “void and unenforceable,” calling it “unusual on its face.”<\/p>\n The Jacobs could still re-file the subpoena against Pickler as part of her separate case against them, which is ongoing.<\/p>\n It’s not clear whether or not Pickler had a good relationship with her late husband’s parents while he was still alive. The problems between them didn’t spill out into public view until more than a year after his death.<\/p>\n After the judge rules on the remaining motions, they will either proceed, or the judge will dismiss.<\/p>\n If they are dismissed, that doesn’t necessarily mean the case is over.
