Ahead of Megan Moroney<\/a>‘s performance tonight (Dec. 2) on the CMA Country Christmas special, she shared some of her family’s Christmas traditions from growing up \u2014 ones some might find a little odd.<\/p>\n

Country Now<\/a> reports that Moroney said, \u201cI think my favorite Christmas tradition is Christmas Eve. My whole family and I \u2014 my dad makes us watch It\u2019s a Wonderful Life<\/em>, the black-and-white version \u2014 every single year, and he makes chocolate chip cookies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gosh, who can sit through an entire black-and-white movie in 2025? I\u2019ve got to give Moroney credit where credit is due for that one.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s where things take an odd turn: Moroney says, \u201cAnd then on Christmas Day we have a lobster.\u201d<\/p>\n

I searched the internet high and low for any Christmas tradition that includes a family splitting a lobster on Christmas morning, and I came up empty. There\u2019s no such thing. Perhaps she means that they each have a lobster?<\/p>\n
