Band and former member come together to perform “Hell No, I Ain’t Happy” from 2003’s Decoration Day<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \n\tAs promised<\/a>, Drive-By Truckers<\/a> reunited with Jason Isbell<\/a> \u201cofficially\u201d for the first time in 18 years on Tuesday\u2019s Late Show<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe band and their former member delivered \u201cHell No, I Ain\u2019t Happy,\u201d a track off their 2003 album Decoration Day<\/em>, which recently received a \u201cDefinitive\u201d reissue<\/a> stocked with bonus tracks, including a new remix and a 2022 live recording.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe have always remained friends with Jason, and honestly, he and I are closer now than ever,\u201d Drive-By Truckers\u2019 Patterson Hood previously said of the Late Show<\/em> performance in a statement. \u201cI consider\u00a0Decoration Day<\/em>\u00a0to be our masterpiece, and he was such an integral part of that album that it\u2019s wonderful that he\u2019s able to join us in celebrating this release.\u201d<\/p>\n
