The stalwart indie label is partnering with 4 Non Blondes frontperson Linda Perry to launch an imprint, 670 Records, that will co-release both the band\u2019s album and a Perry solo record, <em>Let It Die Here<\/em>, which is also coming on an unspecified date next year.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement about reuniting the band, Perry said in a press release, \u201cI put my feelers out into the universe. Playing some songs with 4 Non Blondes just seemed like a fun thing to do, in a way it hadn\u2019t before now. I\u2019ve been behind the scenes for far too long. I want to step out to be the artist I am. I\u2019m just open to all the possibilities that I\u2019ve created around me. I manifest things all the time.\u201d She added that the album will include a mix of new songs and revisited older material.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the 4 Non Blondes lineup will be bassist Christa Hillhouse\u2014Perry\u2019s only bandmate to be present throughout the group\u2019s first phase\u2014and two original touring members: drummer Dawn Richardson and guitarist Roger Rocha. (That lineup has reconvened for a handful of reunion tour dates this year.)
