We didn\u2019t always do music. He would come to my crib and we\u2019d just watch TV and snap on Skitzo [my producer and friend]. Mac Miller was hilarious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/artist\/dipset\" target=\"_blank\">Dipset<\/a> legend wasn\u2019t the only one in his family who was a huge fan of Mac\u2019s fun-loving spirit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy mother \u2014 God bless the dead \u2014 <em>loved<\/em> Mac Miller because she would hear Mac Miller\u2019s at the house and she\u2019d say, \u2018Yo, put on Twitter that you\u2019re at my house.\u2019 And he would tag my mother on Twitter and she would get, like, a thousand followers. So whenever Mac Miller would come to the crib, she would be really happy,\u201d Cam continued.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOutside of music, he was just a cool dude, a funny n*gga. It wasn\u2019t all about music [with us]. I think we got three songs that we did together out of the 10, 11 times that he came to my house. I really fucked with that kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cam also recalled his reaction to <a class=\"underline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/mac-millers-official-cause-of-death-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mac\u2019s untimely death in 2018<\/a>, which was ruled an accidental overdose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was with him, I never saw him do no type of drugs so when I saw that shit come out [about his death], I was like, \u2018What the fuck?!&#8217;\u201d he said, clearly still shocked by the tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the segement at the 53:00 mark below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"optanon-category-C0003\" width=\"900\" height=\"340\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/CQPnYbljSTk?si=Bg3fv-ZY6uDYZrpu&amp;start=3179\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Cam\u2019ron and Mac Miller collaborated numerous times, including on the songs \u201cIgnorant\u201d and \u201cDig That,\u201d and at one point were even planning to release a full project together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe and Cam are actually talking about doing a project together,\u201d Mac told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xxlmag.com\/mac-miller-reveals-project-with-camron-discusses-upcoming-macadelic-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\">XXL<\/a><\/em> in 2012. \u201cWe don\u2019t know when we\u2019re gonna do it. We have three or four songs recorded already. We\u2019re working on more at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cWe\u2019re two funny guys. We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music. I think the cool thing is that it\u2019s an unexpected collaboration that actually turned out dope.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanna do some soulful hip-hop shit, while also making some hard shit and some fun music.
